I found Mary Frances Conway Buffkin on a find a grave site which I will post at the end of my comment. I spoke with her husband Gil Buffkin who confirmed that Mary Frances was a graduate of our class. She was lliving in Crossville, Tennessee at the time of her death from lung cancer--May 23, 2010. I also spoke with her older brother Vincent Conway(class of '62) and younger brother James Conway. All three said she always spoke fondly of her time spent at Patrick Henry. Vincent said their father had died when he and Mary were young teens and the family moved to Roanoke because their grandmother lived there. The family lived near The Coffee Pot.
