(Bill) Council, Jr., of Greer, SC, passed away March 19, 2009 at the age of 62. Raised in Roanoke, VA, he was a graduate of Virginia Tech. Bill retired in 2002 from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Charleston, SC where he was employed as a civil engineer for 33 years. He loved fishing, listening to comedy and country music, working on old cars, boating and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Claudia Kingery Council of Greer, SC, his son Aaron Council, daughter-in-law Claire Sayce Council and grandsons Devin and Lincoln Council, all of Greer, SC. Bill is also survived by three sisters, Mary Hall of Candensis, PA, Carolyn Lord of Charlotte, NC, and Doris Conner of Roanoke, VA.
